Cosmic Musings

Last night I sat with a truth that had been building for a while: a friendship in my life had run its course. There wasn’t a blowout or betrayal. Just a soft but steady realization that the connection had become unbalanced, no longer mutual. That it was being held up by memories more than real, present energy.

And for the first time, I didn’t try to fix it. I didn’t shrink to make it work. I let it be what it was, and that helped me let it go.

Letting go is never easy.

It feels like a kind of grief, even when it’s the right thing. But it also felt clean. Peaceful. Like putting down something I didn’t realize had gotten so heavy. Virgo, in its own quiet way, reminds us that walking away isn’t failure, it’s an act of deep self-respect.

We often think love means holding on no matter what. But real love (especially self-love) sometimes asks us to choose our own peace, even if it means disappointing someone else. That’s not selfish. That’s sacred.

The beauty of Virgo energy is that it brings truth into focus. Not harshly, but honestly.

It gives us the strength to name what we feel and the grace to act on it. It invites us to clear space not out of punishment but in devotion to what’s true.

Today I’m thinking about how many things I’ve kept simply because I didn’t want to feel the sadness of letting go. But that sadness is also a threshold. On the other side is lightness. Freedom.

This moon is here to help us release what’s no longer aligned so that we can walk toward what truly is. And that is a powerful kind of love.
