Cosmic Musings

Today at 9:35 AM PT, the Sun squares Lilith. It's that cosmic moment when our conscious self collides with our hidden truths, when what we show the world meets what we've been keeping in the shadows. And here I am, awake since dawn, thinking about someone I’m dating and all the ways this transit is illuminating exactly what I've been afraid to see.

They say Lilith represents our wild, unbound nature, the part of us that refuses to play by the rules. And the Sun? That's our ego, our conscious identity, the face we show on first dates and carefully curated Instagram stories. When these two square off, it's like getting caught between who we pretend to be and who we really are.

It's like this square aspect is holding up a mirror, forcing me to see why I'm really scared. It's not about the person I’m dating, it's about how real this feels. How he sees through the carefully curated version of myself, I usually present on dates. The version that knows all the right things to say, that keeps things light and uncomplicated.

Lilith's energy is wild and unapologetic, and right now she's challenging every defense mechanism I've built in my dating life. She's asking: Why do you keep hiding? Why do you choose complicated unavailable situations over something that could be beautifully simple?

Maybe that's the gift of this transit. Not just facing our shadows, but finding someone who makes us brave enough to embrace them. Someone who makes authenticity feel less like a risk and more like coming home.
