Cosmic Musings

I'm writing to you early this morning, still raw and open from yesterday's therapy session. You know those sessions that crack you wide open and leave you seeing everything differently? That was yesterday for me.

I sat on my couch afterward, wrapped in my favorite blanket, thinking about how much of my healing has come from simply learning to love - really love - both myself and others. It sounds so simple when I write it down, almost obvious, but it feels like the kind of truth that keeps unfolding the longer you sit with it.

Today's going to be powerful. The Wolf Moon (our first full moon of the year) enters Cancer at 2:26 PM PT, reaching its peak later at 5:27 PM. There's something about this timing that feels almost too perfect, the wolf, this wild, misunderstood creature that thrives in community, appearing during a Cancer moon that's all about nurturing and emotional truth.

In therapy, we talked about how I mother myself, how I create safety in my own life. It's funny - I used to think vulnerability was a weakness, but I'm learning it might be the bravest thing we can offer each other. My therapist asked me a question that I want to share with you: "When was the last time you let yourself be held - either literally or metaphorically?" I'm still sitting with that one.

As this Wolf Moon rises later today, I'm planning to do a small ritual. Nothing fancy - just sitting quietly, maybe with a candle, and looking back at the last six months of my life. What do I need to release? What walls can I let crumble? What parts of myself am I ready to love a little more fiercely?
