This morning, I caught myself staring at my indoor plants for way too long. The big monstera I've been nurturing for months just unfurled a new leaf, but instead of being perfectly heart-shaped like the others, it came out a bit wonky, with one side slightly curved in the wrong direction.

A year ago, this "imperfection" would have sent me into a spiral of research - Was it getting too much light? Not enough water? Should I adjust its position by exactly two inches to the left? But today, as the Virgo moon settled into our skies at 8:46 AM PT, I found myself appreciating this quirky leaf for what it is: proof that growth rarely follows our carefully laid plans.

You see, lately I've been learning that there's a difference between caring for something and trying to control its every outcome. Sure, we can provide the right conditions - water, light, support, but the actual unfolding? That's not up to us.

As this organized Virgo moon guides us through the day, I'm choosing to see it as an invitation to structure the things that matter (like making sure my plant gets water) while releasing my grip on the results (like how perfectly symmetrical its leaves should be).
