Cosmic Musings
Today, I’ve been thinking a lot about what it means to take up space. My son, a Leo himself, teaches me this every single day. He speaks boldly, shares his ideas freely, and walks into every room as if he belongs there, because he knows he does.
Watching him reminds me that this kind of confidence isn’t just natural, it’s nurtured. And something in me whispers, “That came from you, too.”
There’s a part of me that sees him and remembers my own voice.
The one I used to soften, shrink, or keep quiet so I wouldn’t seem like “too much.” But lately, I’ve been learning that my emotions, my depth, my truth, they’re not flaws. They’re maps. They guide me to what’s been hurt, hidden, or waiting to be reclaimed.
And then, every time I say something and instantly feel like it was “too much,” I pause.
Because to hold back my desires, to silence my truth, would mean silencing a version of myself my child would be proud of. The one who speaks with fire and softness. The one who honors her story by telling it, by owning it. If I want him to stay big and bright, I have to stay honest and visible too.
The Leo Moon reminds me that it’s okay to be much. It’s okay to feel deeply, speak loudly, and laugh unapologetically. That every part of me (even the ones I tried to hide) deserve to breathe in the light.
And when I feel uncomfortable, I know that discomfort might just be the place where healing begins. That the very thing I’ve been told to tone down is often the thing that leads me home to myself.
So today, I choose to embody what I see in him: joy, truth, presence. I choose to believe that if something this radiant came through me, then I, too, must carry that light.
Are you ready to take your place too?
