Cosmic Musings
There's something almost magical about feeling a lunar transition in real time, like watching weather change from inside your own body. The restless need to do, do, do was gradually being replaced by a deeper need to simply be.
Taurus Moon energy doesn't rush; it savors.
Thee past few days had been about discovering what I wanted and going after it; but today Is all about appreciating what I already have. There's wisdom in both movements, the reaching forward and the settling in.
I've been thinking about how our culture celebrates the Aries energy – the go-getters, the disruptors, the ones who make things happen. But we're less comfortable with Taurus energy, the slow deliberation, the insistence on comfort, the refusal to be rushed.
We call it lazy or indulgent, when really it's just a different kind of intelligence. The intelligence that knows when enough is enough, when faster isn't better, when the point isn't to arrive but to enjoy the journey.
As I walked home after breakfast, taking my time, noticing the way the evening light hit the buildings, feeling grateful for everything that surrounds me, I realized something important: Aries Moon had helped me claim my fire, and now Taurus Moon was teaching me how to tend it sustainably.
Both energies are necessary. Both are sacred. And both are reminding me that self-care isn't selfish, it's how we maintain the energy to show up fully for our lives.
