There's a particular kind of loneliness that only comes from lying next to someone who feels like a stranger.
You share a bed but not your hearts.
You co-parent beautifully but never really talk.
You function as roommates who happen to be married.
And the worst part? Everyone thinks you have it all together.
"You're so lucky," friends say. "At least you have someone."
But having someone physically present while emotionally absent might be the deepest loneliness of all.
Rebecca knew this pain. 15 years married, two kids, beautiful home. Instagram perfect. Reality? They hadn't had sex in two years. Hadn't had a real conversation in five. She felt like she was slowly dying inside while pretending everything was fine.
"Should I stay or should I go?" she asked me, tears streaming. "I don't even know if this can be saved."
When we looked at their composite chart (the chart of the relationship itself), the answer became clear:
Their Venus (love) was conjunct Saturn (duty). They'd built a relationship on obligation, not passion. Their Moon (emotions) was in the 12th house (hidden). They'd never learned to be emotionally visible to each other.
But here's what the chart also revealed: This relationship COULD be revived - if both people were willing to do the work.
The chart doesn't just show problems. It shows potential.
Rebecca learned that their relationship needed:
Regular Venus rituals (deliberate romance, not waiting for spontaneity)
12th house Moon work (making the unconscious conscious)
Saturn structure (scheduled intimacy, committed conversation time)
She shared the insights with her husband. At first, he was skeptical. But when he saw how accurately the chart described their dynamic, he got curious.
They started doing the work. It wasn't instant magic. It was slow, sometimes painful rebuilding. But six months later, Rebecca sent me this:
"We're not perfect, but we're REAL now. We talk. We touch. We see each other. I didn't know this was possible after so many dead years."
Not every relationship can be saved. Sometimes, completion is the kindest choice. But your chart (and your relationship's chart) will tell you:
Is there still love underneath the numbness?
Are you meant to evolve together or apart?
What would it take to revive this?
Is staying an act of love or fear?
You deserve to know if you're watering a dead plant or one that's just dormant, waiting for the right conditions to bloom again.
Tomorrow, I'll share success stories from women who thought love was over for them - until they discovered their charts and everything changed.
With deep compassion, Sonya Schwartz
P.S. Rebecca's husband recently told her: "I'm grateful we didn't give up. But I'm more grateful we finally learned HOW to show up." Sometimes the relationship isn't wrong - you just need the instruction manual.
