Daily Amation
"I honor the woman I’ve become, and the story I’ve written with my strength.”
Cosmic Musings
This morning, I opened my eyes to sunlight streaming through the windows of my quiet, beautiful home, and for a moment, I just looked around. It was tidy, calm, clean. Peaceful. And for the first time in a long time, I didn’t feel like I was trying to catch up with life, I felt like I was standing inside a life I had carefully, intentionally created.
I remembered how chaotic everything was right after my divorce. How the house was a mess, and not just in the physical sense. It mirrored my state of mind: scattered, aching, unsure. Back then, it felt like every day was about surviving, just trying to keep moving through the fog.
But today, under this Sun–Mercury conjunction, it struck me how much can shift in a year, not just in a space, but in a soul. Because the real transformation wasn’t the house. It was me. I became the woman who could rebuild, who could make beauty out of brokenness.
This transit reminds us: we deserve to witness ourselves in our strength. To look around at what we’ve created, and not minimize it just because the storm has passed. This is where celebration begins, not with confetti or fanfare, but with stillness and recognition.
So I lit a candle. Made coffee slowly. Sat at my kitchen table and just let myself feel proud. Of the version of me that kept going. Of the tiny decisions that led to this clean, quiet morning. Because what is Mercury conjunct the Sun if not a perfect day to rewrite the narrative from “barely made it” to “look at me now”?
We don’t always take time to honor the chapters we’ve closed, and how much healing that took. But today, I did. And I hope you will too.
